Taylor is a plawright and dramaturg currently living in Boston, although she identifies as a Midwesterner at heart.
She studied devised theatre at Celebration Barn Theatre in Maine, and creative writing at the Scottish Universities International Summer School through the University of Edinburgh. She holds a BFA in Theatre Arts from Boston University and studied Advanced Playwriting at NYU in London.
Taylor has worked as a freelance dramaturg in New York and Boston. Her play, Life Could Be A Dream, was published in the literary magazine Northern Light, and was a Region 1 Finalist for the Kennedy Center American College Theatre Festival. Her plays have been performed throughout Boston, New York, Philadelphia, and London.
Taylor's work strives to empower strong female voices in the theatre, both on and offstage.
